I recently heard about a free service called Drop Box, so decided to give it a try. We have a distributed project team spread between Johannesburg and Cape Town, and always have the need to synch files between team members.
Dropbox allows you to synch files that you want share between an number of different locations. Once you have installed Dropbox, you will notice that a dropbox folder is displayed in your file finder or explorer. You can share files by dragging files into the folder and they are automatically shared with users that have access to the specified folder.
